Instinct is a solid goth rock album that hearkens back to the Sisters' psychedelic era combined with modern electronic trimmings. Phantom Vision (formerly Electric Wet Dreams) is based in Lisbon, Portugal. As their name implies, the band creates a sound that falls somewhere between a lucid dream and a hallucinatory voyage. Upbeat drums, trippy guitar work, solid bass and deep somber vocals combine with strategically placed synth elements to create a surprisingly varied tableau. Each new song washes over you like another psychedelic wave, crashing over your nerve endings.

The first Dark Dreams event was a big success. Thank you to everyone who came out. I think the turnout was better than any of us expected. We are still kicking around ideas for the next party. We are currently looking at late September.
